About the Opportunity: Enginow is launching an open-source platform designed to empower developers, students, and tech enthusiasts to contribute to real-world projects, collaborate with industry-level teams, and gain practical development experience. This opportunity is focused on building impactful open-source solutions across multiple domains, including web development, AI tools, cloud platforms, developer utilities, and productivity systems. Participants will work on live repositories, solve real engineering challenges, and contribute meaningful code that can strengthen their portfolios and technical profiles. The initiative aims to encourage innovation, collaboration, and community-driven development while helping participants improve their coding, problem-solving, Git/GitHub workflow, and teamwork skills. Individual participation is allowed. Basic knowledge of Git, GitHub, and programming is recommended. Participants from any college, university, or organization can apply. Registration is mandatory to participate in the program. Registration Process: Register through the official registration portal. Join the community and communication channels. Access repositories and contribution guidelines. Start contributing to assigned/open issues. Competition Structure: The structure for this online coding challenge is as follows: Phase 1 — Registration & Onboarding: Participants complete registration. Access to repositories, contribution guidelines, and project documentation will be shared. Introductory orientation/community session will be conducted. Phase 2 — Issue Selection & Contribution: Participants start contributing to open-source repositories. Issues will be categorized based on difficulty: Beginner Intermediate Advanced Phase 3 — Review & Evaluation: Pull Requests (PRs) will be reviewed by mentors and maintainers. Contributions will be evaluated on: Code quality Innovation Documentation Optimization Consistency Phase 4 — Final Leaderboard & Recognition: Participants with the highest quality contributions and active participation will be featured on the leaderboard. Final winners and top contributors will be announced officially.
