Crafted by experienced problem setters and inspired by global-level competitions, this contest challenges participants with carefully curated problems spanning algorithms, data structures, and mathematical thinking. Organised by Scaler School of Technology, InVariant is more than just a contest ,it’s a proving ground for those who aspire to stand out in the world of competitive programming.
Online Qualifier:
Type: Individual contest
Duration: 3 hours
Details: Solve a series of algorithmic and data structure problems under a strict time limit and a penalty system; top performers advance to Offline Finals
Selected Participants will be notified for the second round via their registered email.
Offline Finals:
Type: Individual contest
Format: 3 hours
Details: Top online performers compete offline in a high-pressure environment, showcasing problem-solving ability, speed, and collaboration.
The final contest will be held completely offline on campus premises on 17th May.
Eligibility:
Open to individual participants only.
Open to students from all colleges across India, as well as working professionals and competitive programming enthusiasts.
Participants from any branch or academic background are welcome.
No prior competitive programming experience is required; beginners are encouraged to participate.
Basic knowledge of programming (C++ / Java / Python) and fundamental algorithms & data structures is recommended.
Participants must compete using a single account; multiple accounts or unfair practices will lead to disqualification.
Rules & Regulations:
Languages Allowed: C, C++, Java, Python
Internet Access: Restricted to the contest platform only; no other websites or online resources allowed
Disqualification: Plagiarism, code-sharing, misconduct, or multiple registrations
Late Logins: Not permitted
Fair Play: Matches monitored to ensure fair competition
Registration Process:
Step 1: Click on the “Register Now” button and complete your individual registration.
Step 2: Fill in all the required details carefully, including your name, email ID, and college.
Step 3: After completing the registration, you will receive a confirmation email.
Step 4: Join the WhatsApp Community: Whatsapp Community
Step 5: Open the email and follow the instructions provided to access the contest.
Step 6: On the day of the contest, log in using your registered account and join the contest from the platform.
Step 7: Follow the instructions on the platform and start solving problems once the contest goes live.
