All that you need to know about IGNITE'26 TECH HUNT
1. Eligibility:
Open to students from across India.
This is a team event.
Teams can consist of 1 to 2 members.
Inter-department teams are allowed.
Each participant can be part of only one team.
2. Event Format
Tech Hunt is a level-based competitive event consisting of three rounds:
Round 1 – MCQs
Objective-type questions based on programming concepts, logical reasoning, problem-solving, and computer science fundamentals.
Round 2 – Blind Coding
A unique coding challenge where participants must code without viewing their code in the editor.
The coding editor will remain blacked out during most of the round.
The editor will be revealed only during the last 5 minutes, allowing participants to debug and make final corrections.
Evaluation will be based on correctness, logic, and output.
Average of round 1 and round 2 will be taken and selected teams will proceed to round 3.
Round 3 – Puzzle Box (Final Round)
A coding-intensive challenge combining problem-solving, logical puzzles, and programming skills.
Teams must solve a series of interconnected coding tasks within the given time.
Speed, accuracy, and approach will play a crucial role.
All rounds except Round 1 are primarily coding-based.
3. General Guidelines
Use of any Gen-AI tools is strictly prohibited, as this event is meant to test the coding and problem-solving skills under pressure.
Internet access rules will be communicated before the event.
Any malpractice, use of unfair means, or violation of rules will result in immediate disqualification.
Decisions made by the organizing committee and judges will be final and binding.
4. Code of Conduct
Participants must maintain professionalism and respect towards fellow competitors and organizers.
Any form of misconduct, offensive behavior, or unfair practices will lead to immediate disqualification.
Organizers reserve the right to modify rules or take necessary actions if required.
5. Prizes & Recognition
Exciting prizes and certificates will be awarded to the winning teams.
Certificates of participation will be provided to all participants who attend the event.
