Build agents that act on behalf of real users
Most agents are demos. They call APIs. They look impressive. But the moment they need to act as a specific user in a real system, with real permissions, they fall apart. This hackathon is about that last mile. Build an AI agent that doesn't just execute tasks - it does it as the right person, with the right access, in the right context.
Date: Saturday, May 23Time: 9:30 AM – 7:30 PMLocation: Entrepreneurs First, Folsom Street, San Francisco
The problem
Connecting an agent to a CRM (or any app) is easy. Updating a record as a specific user, respecting their tenant, their permissions, their identity is where most demos break.
Today, you're solving the hard part. You'll build agents that act on behalf of real users using Scalekit's SDK: not as root, not as a service account, but as the person the action belongs to.
Two problem tracks will be updated soonSchedule

Judging criteria
Projects are scored equally across four dimensions:
🔭 Innovation (25%) — Is the approach novel? Does it solve the problem in a way we haven't seen before?
⚙️ Technical Complexity (25%) — How well-built is the solution? Does it genuinely leverage all 3 tools?
🌍 Impact (25%) — Does this solve a real problem? Could it scale beyond the demo?
🎯 Presentation & Usability (25%) — Is the demo clear and compelling? Would someone actually want to use this?

Who should come
This is for you if you're a founder, hacker, AI engineer, or builder who wants to work on the leading edge of agentic AI. No experience with meeting APIs required — we'll have API docs, live walkthroughs, and mentors on hand all day.
Whether you come solo or with a team, you'll leave with working code, new connections, and a sharper intuition for building agents that actually do things.
