About the Event:
G-Prime is the flagship coding contest of Opulence 2026, organized by the Advanced Academic Center (AAC) of GRIET, Hyderabad. It is a multi-stage programming competition designed to test algorithmic thinking, coding efficiency, and problem-solving skills. Open to all engineering students, G-Prime offers a high-energy platform for passionate coders to compete and showcase their skills.
Guidelines:
Open to all undergraduate students from any college or stream. Participants can register solo or in teams of up to 2 members. No prior qualification is required to participate in the preliminary round. The preliminary round is free for all participants. The qualified participants are required to pay a registration fee of 250/- INR per person for the second round.
Event Format:
Round 1: Online Preliminary Round (Open to All):
Mode: Online Entry Fee: Free Format: Competitive Programming Duration: 90 minutes Platform: Unstop Outcome: Top teams will be shortlisted for the final round based on performance.
Round 2: Offline Finale (On-Campus at GRIET):
Mode: Offline Entry Fee: 250/- INR per person Location: GRIET Campus, Hyderabad Participants: Shortlisted teams from prelims will be invited. Format and judging criteria will be shared on the venue.
Rules:
Teams must consist of 1 or 2 members. A participant can only be part of one team. Only the team lead can participate in the preliminary round Plagiarism or any unfair means will lead to disqualification in both the preliminaries and the main contest. College ID verification will be done during the offline round. Judges' decisions will be final and binding.
Prizes:
Compete with top programmers from across the region. Win prizes from a pool of Rs.15000, certificates.
