CAD-Vantage Rules & Regulations: Participation: Participation is strictly individual. Team participation is NOT allowed. Design Guidelines: Participants are required to create a basic product design using any CAD software. The evaluation will primarily focus on: Product idea Practical usability Market relevance Highly complex technical detailing is not required. Use of pre-designed, downloaded, or copied models is strictly prohibited. Only original work created by the participant will be considered for evaluation. Software & Resources: Any commonly used CAD software is allowed Internet usage policy will be announced before the event Participants may use their own laptops Submission Guidelines: Each participant must submit: CAD design file OR clear images/screenshots of the design A short concept note explaining the product idea Submissions must be made on or before 23rd February. Late submissions will not be accepted. Presentation Round: Each participant will present their product covering: Product idea Target users Key features Business / market relevance Judges may ask clarifying questions during the presentation. Evaluation Criteria: Judging will be based on: Innovation & creativity Practical usefulness Business viability / market relevance Clarity of design & explanation Overall presentation quality Code of Conduct: Participants must maintain professional behavior Any form of misconduct, plagiarism, or use of unfair means will lead to immediate disqualification Decisions of the judges and organizers will be final and binding Prizes and Certificates: Winners and runners-up will receive certificates and prizes Participation certificates will be provided to all valid participants. General Rules: Organizers reserve the right to modify rules if necessary Use of unfair means will result in immediate disqualification Awards and certificates will be given purely on a performance basis Organizer’s Rights: Organizers reserve the right to modify rules if required Any unforeseen disputes will be resolved by the organizing committee Declaration: Participation in CAD-Vantage implies acceptance of all the above rules and regulations.
