Welcome to Climate+ Warriors Weekend Explorers April 2026 SF Climate Week Edition!
Are you ready to put down that board, pipette or laptop and go explore the outdoors? We are a group of climate tech and social impact enthusiasts who gather once a month to explore the SF Bay Area outdoors. This month, Climate+ Warriors Weekend Explorers heads to the Presidio of San Francisco, a 1491-acre National Historic Landmark District in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, that once served as a military post for over 200 years, first under Spanish, Mexican and finally U.S. control. Come connect with fellow Climate+ Warriors from around the world who are in town for SF Climate Week as we explore this beautiful and rich landscape, and reflect on the week and how we feel inspired to take action.
TRIP OVERVIEW:
As we hike, we’ll pass through coastal bluffs, eucalyptus groves, and quiet forest trails, with sweeping views of the Golden Gate Bridge, Marin Headlands, and the bay. Along the way, you may notice remnants of its past—old batteries, historic buildings, and carefully restored habitats—woven into a landscape that feels both wild and deeply storied.
