Ai-WaR is a two-round AI/ML Vibeathon focused on solving real-world problems under time pressure
Designed for machine learning enthusiasts and GenAI prompt engineers
Tests technical logic, rapid prototyping, and presentation skills
Eligibility & Team Composition:
Open to all students of the departments of UoD
Team Size: 2–3 members
Inter-college teams are not allowed
Inter-specialization teams are allowed and encouraged
Event Format:
Round 1: The Technical Build (Elimination Round)
Problem statements revealed at 10:00 AM
150 minutes to conceptualize, code, and prototype solutions
Finals: Presentation & Demo
Top teams present working prototypes to faculty judges
Results, prizes, and certificates released within 5 working days
Rules & Guidelines:
Participants must bring their own laptops with Python/R and preferred IDEs pre-installed (VS Code, PyCharm, Jupyter)
Power supply and high-speed internet will be provided
Datasets and API keys will be shared at the start of Round 1
All solutions must be built during the 2.5-hour sprint; pre-existing projects will be disqualified
Participants must report 30 minutes prior to the event at the registration desk
Preliminary rounds may be conducted if there are high entries
Judging Criteria:
Technical Accuracy (40%): Functionality and correctness of the model
Innovation & Approach (30%): Creativity in solving the problem using AI
Code Cleanliness & Prompt Quality (20%): Structure, readability, and effectiveness of prompts
Presentation & Impact (10%): Clarity and effectiveness of the final pitch
