Code for Her is a National-Level, Online, Women-Only Hackathon organized by the IEEE RGIPT Student Branch, Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT). The hackathon is designed to encourage female undergraduate students across India to engage in technology, innovation, and problem-solving in a supportive and inclusive environment. The event focuses on ideation, research, and solution development for real-world problem statements, helping participants build confidence, teamwork, and technical skills.
Eligibility:
Open to female undergraduate students from institutions across India
Participants may register individually or as part of a team (as per guidelines to be released)

Online (Ideation, Presentation, and Development Phases)

Event Format & Process:
Phase 1: Ideation Phase (Online)
15 January – 19 January 2026

Teams will analyze the problem, brainstorm solutions, and prepare a structured presentation explaining their idea, approach, and expected impact.
Presentation Round (Online):
20 January – 21 January 2026
Teams will present their ideas via platforms such as Google Meet or Zoom
Based on evaluation, selected teams will be shortlisted for the next phase
Results of Phase 1: 22 January 2026
Phase 2: Development Phase (Online)
23 January – 29 January 2026
Shortlisted teams will develop and implement their proposed solutions
Focus areas include innovation, feasibility, usability, and real-world impact
Valedictory Ceremony & Final Results:
31 January or 1 February 2026
