PromptWars is a high-energy, competitive event centered around prompt engineering, where participants battle it out by talking smartly to AI instead of writing code. The challenge lies in how clearly, creatively, and precisely you can communicate your intent to an AI system .
The goal? To generate accurate, useful, or delightfully creative outputs using nothing but well-crafted prompts. As AI continues to shape the world around us, prompt engineering is fast becoming a real-world superpower — and PromptWars gives you the perfect hands-on arena to master it .
Objective of the Event:
To encourage participants to build the habit of crafting complete, well-structured prompts, instead of depending on half-baked follow-ups, and to smartly use fewer tokens for clearer, more accurate, and higher-quality outputs .
To assess how effectively participants can guide an AI to :
Solve problems
Explain concepts
Generate creative or analytical content
To promote critical thinking, clarity of expression, creativity, and strong problem understanding .
To keep the event entirely non-technical, ensuring that no coding or programming knowledge is required.
Rules & Guidelines:
All participants will use the same AI model and interface provided by the organizing team to ensure fairness.
Each participant will be allowed a limited number of prompts per round, and exceeding this limit will result in penalty or disqualification.
Use of external tools, new accounts or individual assistance and resources, or assistance is strictly prohibited during the event.
AI-generated responses must not be manually edited or modified and should be submitted exactly as received.
Prompts must be original and created during the event; plagiarism or pre-written prompts are not allowed.
Judges will also judge upon the quality of prompts and refined thinking and workflow.
The decision of the judges will be final and binding in all matters related to evaluation and results.
