In the spirit of this year’s International Women’s Day theme, “Give to Gain,” OGP invites our closest community of civic builders and partners to reflect on this together. This learning circle is part of OGP’s Stewards for Good programme, which supports communities building technology for public good and expands pathways for civic participation. The session is jointly presented with our steward, Women Devs SG. It reflects OGP’s broader mission to create more inclusive models of citizen participation, ensuring that diverse voices are involved not only in public policy discussions, but also in designing the technologies that power public good. Human Library OGP and WDS will lead Human Library-style learning circles, where women leaders and civic builders share their insights and lived experiences on how they: build technology for public good participate in civic innovationshape inclusive digital systems Due to limited capacity, priority will be given to our Stewards for Good community members and Build for Good alumni. Speakers Nurul Jihadah Hussain is a globally recognised community leader and founder of The Codette Project, a non-profit empowering minority Muslim women in tech. She has led pioneering initiatives, including Singapore’s first women-only hackathon, while championing more inclusive pathways and narratives in technology. Qimmy Lim is a Senior Product Designer at Open Government Products, working on digital solutions across healthcare and social services. She believes technology should make systems more human, as seen in her project Peek, which helps patients better navigate waiting times. Peggy Yee is a lawyer in private practice and a dedicated advocate for social causes in Singapore. She champions the rights of vulnerable persons, particularly those with invisible disabilities, and was named the Law Society of Singapore’s Pro Bono Ambassador 2024. Prof Lim Sun Sun is Vice President (Partnerships & Engagement) and Professor of Communication and Technology at Singapore Management University. Her work explores the social impact of technology, and she is a former Nominated Member of Parliament and a Top 50 Asia Women Tech Leaders 2024 honoree. Saloni Kaur is a software developer and Co-Director of WomenDevsSG, where she leads initiatives supporting women in tech. With a decade of experience, she is also the co-founder and co-host of ragTech, a podcast that makes technology more accessible to all.
