HACKxAMRITA 2.0 is a multi-stage hackathon organized by the Prachurya Club, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amaravati Campus. The hackathon aims to provide undergraduate and integrated dual degree students with a platform to ideate, innovate, and build impactful technology-driven solutions addressing real-world problems defined under the EdTech, HealthTech, and Open Innovation domains.The hackathon begins with an online Idea Submission Round, where teams submit their ideas in a predefined PPT format. Submissions will be reviewed and evaluated by a panel of judges. Based on this evaluation, top 50 teams will be shortlisted and invited to participate in the offline hackathon at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amaravati Campus which is scheduled from 23rd February, 2026 to 25th February, 2026.The offline phase will involve prototype development and implementation through an intensive coding event.
Why HACKxAMRITA 2.0?
HACKxAMRITA 2.0 is designed to provide students with a structured platform to engage in collaborative problem-solving and develop technology-driven solutions to real-world challenges. The hackathon emphasises disciplined ideation, systematic implementation, and technical depth, enabling participants to translate concepts into functional prototypes while engaging in peer-level collaboration and competitive evaluation.
Rules and Guidelines:
Team size must be a minimum 4 and a maximum 5 members.
Teams are not allowed to change members after registration.
Only one submission per team is permitted.
Submissions must strictly follow the official PPT template provided.
Original Work - Submissions must be original; Plagiarism or use of unfair means will lead to immediate disqualification.
The use of fully automated AI-powered application or website generators like prompt-to-app tools is strictly prohibitted. Any team found using such tools at any stage of the hackathon will result in immediate disqualification.
Teams are required to maintain a Github repository and push commits periodically during the hackathon. Inconsistent or missing commit history may affect evaluation.

Participants must prepare their presentation using the official PPT template and convert it into PDF format before submission.
No additional documents or abstracts are required.
Submissions must be made only through the official platform.

All submitted ideas will be evaluated by a panel of judges.
Top 50 teams will be shortlisted after the scrutiny process.
Teams that are not shortlisted will be eliminated from further rounds.
Only shortlisted teams will be invited to participate in the offline hackathon at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetam, Amaravati Campus.
Shortlisted teams will receive further communication through official e-mail.Offline Hackathon (Final Round):
Duration: 3 days (23rd February, 2026 - 25th February, 2026)
Coding duration: 30 hours
Teams will be required to build a working prototype based on their submitted idea.
Participants must bring their own laptops and required equipment.
All members of the shortlisted teams participating in the final round must be physically present at the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amaravati Campus.
