Curious how developers are actually using Gemini to write better code and build real AI agents? For this episode of Fri-DIYs, explore Gemini Code Assist and the Google Agent Development Kit (ADK) to help you move beyond demos and start building practical, production-ready agentic systems.
Learn how Gemini fits into the modern developer workflow and how Google’s ADK enables you to design, orchestrate, and connect intelligent agents that can reason, act, and integrate with real tools.
🧑💻In this workshop, you'll
Use Gemini Code Assist to accelerate development, refactor code, and improve engineering workflowsBuild and orchestrate AI agents using the Google ADKConnect agents to tools, APIs, and workflows for real-world use casesLearn best practices for reliability, observability, and safety in agent-based applications
🤓Some Prerequisites
Attendees should be:
Active builders who write code regularly, whether professionally or through personal projectsComfortable working inside a modern IDE and iterating on code with frequent feedbackCurious about agentic workflows, beyond using AI purely for code suggestions or chat(Optional but helpful) Have access to a Google Cloud account for deeper experimentation
