This hackathon invites participants to think creatively and propose innovative solutions that address real-world challenges in the AI era. Participants will get an opportunity to analyze problems, brainstorm ideas, and present impactful solutions that demonstrate their understanding of technology and its future applications.
The event is structured in two competitive rounds, where participants will first test their knowledge of AI concepts and then showcase their creativity and problem-solving abilities through a solution presentation.
Whether you are a beginner exploring AI or a tech enthusiast passionate about innovation, NextGen AI Hackathon is your chance to learn, compete, and showcase your ideas.
Format of the Hackathon
The hackathon will be conducted in two rounds:
Round 1 – AI Quiz Round
Participants will attempt a quiz designed to test their understanding of Artificial Intelligence, emerging technologies, and the digital future.
Round 2 – Presentation Round
Shortlisted participants will submit a presentation proposing a solution to the given hackathon challenge.
The details of the problem statement and challenge will be shared separately with shortlisted participants.

Round 1 – Quiz Round
Quiz Date: 20th March 2026
Quiz Time: 6:00pm to 9:00pm
Round 2 – PPT Submission Round
Submission Date: 22nd March 2026
Last date to register: 5:00pm, 20th March 2026
Time Limit (Quiz Round)
Participants will have 5 minutes to complete 15 Multiple Choice Questions.
Once the time is over, the quiz will automatically close.
Marking Scheme
Each correct answer in the quiz will be awarded +1 mark.
There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.
Participants scoring the highest marks will be shortlisted for the next round.
Rules
Each participant must participate in the quiz round.
Use of external help, AI tools, or other unfair means is strictly prohibited.
Once answers are submitted, they cannot be modified.
For the presentation round, shortlisted participants must follow the submission guidelines provided later.
Shortlisted participants will be required to submit their presentation by 9:00 PM, 22nd March 2026.
Participants must submit a PowerPoint presentation (PPT) consisting of not more than 5 slides.
Detailed submission guidelines, including the problem statement, will be shared after the quiz round.
Late submissions will not be accepted.
Result & Evaluation
Results for the quiz round will be based on the total marks scored.
In case of a tie, the shortest completion time will be considered.
Final winners will be selected based on evaluation of the presentation round.
