About the Competition
WebForge is a project-based web development competition organized by IEEE Computational Intelligence Society (CIS), MUJ. The event is designed to challenge participants to develop innovative web-based solutions that address real-world problems through technology, creativity, and effective design.
Participants will showcase their skills in web development, UI/UX design, problem-solving, teamwork, and project presentation while competing against talented developers from diverse backgrounds.
The competition encourages innovation, technical excellence, and user-centric thinking, providing a platform for participants to transform ideas into impactful digital solutions.
Eligibility
Open to all students.
Participants may register individually or as a team.
Inter-college teams are allowed.
Inter-branch teams are allowed.
Participants must complete registration through Unstop before the deadline.
Team Rules
Each team can have 1 to 3 members.
Teams can use any tech stack such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Node.js, MongoDB, Firebase, Django, Flask, etc.
Use of AI tools is allowed, but the team must understand and explain their own project properly.
Plagiarism or direct copying of an existing website/template will lead to disqualification.
The final submission must be functional enough to demonstrate the main features.
Judges’ decision will be final and binding.
The entire event will be conducted in online mode. All rounds, submissions, evaluations, and presentations (if applicable) will take place virtually.
Problem Statement: The problem statement will be provided only at the commencement of the event.
