"Where Code Meets the Court"The Software Department of DELHI TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY proudly presents Synapse.ai, an inaugural hackathon designed to bridge the gap between athletic passion and artificial intelligence.Sports is no longer just about physical prowess; it is about data, strategy, and engagement. We are challenging the brightest minds to revolutionize the sports ecosystem. Whether it's enhancing athlete performance through computer vision, reimagining fan engagement with AR/VR, or optimizing stadium logistics, your code has the power to change the game.We are looking for innovation, impact, and feasibility. Eligibility Criteria:
Student Status: Open to all B.Tech/B.E., BCA, MCA, and relevant engineering students.
Team Size: Teams must consist of 2 to 4 members.
Inter-College Teams: Allowed. (Members can be from different colleges).
Inter-Specialization: Allowed. (Members can be from different branches/years).
Rules & Guidelines:
Round 1 Submission (PPT):
Teams must submit a presentation proposing their idea.
Limit: Maximum 7 slides.
Content: Must cover the Problem Statement, Proposed Solution, Tech Stack, USP, and Feasibility.
Note: A working prototype is NOT required for Round 1.
Final Prototype:
Selected finalists (Round 3) must demonstrate a working MVP (Minimum Viable Product) or prototype.
Intellectual Property:
Participants retain full ownership of their code and ideas. Synapse.ai claims no IP rights.
Conduct:
Plagiarism or using pre-built projects will lead to immediate disqualification.
Teams must adhere to the timeline and report to the venue on time for offline rounds.
Themes & Problem Statements
We invite solutions under the following tracks:
The Analyst’s Edge (Performance & Strategy): AI for injury prediction, real-time game strategy, or motion analysis.
The Fan Experience (Engagement): Gamifying viewership, VR/AR integration, or personalized content delivery.
The Front Office (Management): Smart ticketing, crowd management, sustainable stadium operations, or merchandise logistics.
Open Innovation: Any novel application of technology in the sports domain.
Process & Timeline:
Round 1: The Kickoff (Online Submission)
Deadline: 17th February 2026, 11:59 PM.
Format: Online PPT Submission via Unstop.
Result: Top ~50 teams announced on 20th February, 8:00 PM.
Round 2: The Build (Offline Qualifier)
Date: 23rd February 2026.
Venue: [Insert College Name/Venue Hall].
Format: On-site mentoring and initial evaluation.
Details: Teams will refine their ideas with mentors. The top ~20 teams will be shortlisted for the Grand Finale.
Round 3: The Showdown (Grand Finale)
Date: 24th February 2026.
Format: Final Pitch & Prototype Demonstration.
Judging: Teams will present to a panel of industry experts and HODs.
Ceremony: Winners declared and prizes distributed by 4:00 PM.
