About the Event Robo Chef Challenge is a time-bound innovation event under Metacognition, UNIFEST 2K26, where participants are required to build a functional project using randomly provided components within a limited time. The event is designed to test creativity, problem-solving ability, and technical execution under pressure. Participants must think quickly, adapt to constraints, and transform given resources into a working solution. Event Format Round Structure The competition will be conducted in a single round format Teams will be given a set of random components at the start Participants must design and build a functional prototype within the given time Final evaluation will be done based on performance and presentation Problem Structure Participants will be judged based on: Innovation and creativity Functionality of the project Technical complexity Design and implementation Presentation and explanation Duration Total event duration: 2 hours Team Details Team Size: 2 members per teamBoth members must actively contribute to the project Eligibility & Rules Open to all undergraduate students Participants must bring their own laptops Only provided components are allowed for use Guidelines Participants must complete their project within the given time limit Use of unauthorized components or pre-built code is not allowed Projects must be safe and properly wired Teams must present their working prototype at the end Evaluation Criteria Innovation and originality Working functionality Technical implementation Design and creativity Clarity of presentation Rules & Code of Conduct Any use of unfair means will result in immediate disqualification Damage to components or unsafe practices will lead to penalties Participants must maintain discipline and professionalism during the event Decisions made by judges will be final and binding Winning Criteria Teams will be ranked based on overall performance across all evaluation parameters Top-performing teams will be declared winners Why Participate?
