The Virtual Capture-The-Flag (CTF) challenge is an online, puzzle-based competition focused on signal processing concepts hidden inside real-world signals. Participants solve a challenging problem by analyzing, decoding, and transforming signals to uncover the hidden flag. This CTF blends engineering intuition, math, and creative problem-solving, making signal processing fun, interactive, and hands-on. Challenge Format Mode: Fully virtual. Team 1 to 4 members. PlatformWeb-based (no installations required). Eligibility: Open to undergraduate engineering students from all colleges and universities. Participants can register individually or in teams of up to 4 members. Basic knowledge of signals, Python, or data analysis is helpful but not mandatory. Rules: Teams can have 1 – 4 members. Participants must register on Unstop before the deadline. Flag sharing between teams will lead to disqualification. Organizers’ decisions will be final and binding. Process: Registration Phase – Teams register through Unstop. Challenge Release – The CTF challenge link will be shared with registered participants. Signal Analysis Phase – Participants analyze the provided signal/data to uncover the hidden flag. Submission – Flags must be submitted through the challenge platform. Leaderboard & Winners – Teams with correct flags and fastest completion time will rank higher. Prizes: Total Prize Pool: ₹10,000. 1st Prize: ₹5,000. 2nd Prize: ₹3,000. 3rd Prize: ₹2,000.
