StrangerTech is a cinematic, Stranger Things–inspired technical event organized by CSI – SIT Nagpur, blending logic, coding, debugging, and system thinking into a story-driven competitive experience.
Each round unfolds like a season, each task like a mission — and once you enter, the clock never stops.

Event Format
The event consists of 5 rounds inspired by seasons of Stranger Things.
Rounds unlock sequentially — teams must complete the current round to access the next
Each round tests different technical and analytical skills
The final round is a rapid, high-pressure technical showdown for top-performing teams
Once a team starts, time runs continuously unless paused by the admin
Round Structure
Round 1 – The VanishingSignals, patterns, memory, and decoding
Round 2 – The Mind FlayerLogical reasoning, networks, and flow analysis
Round 3 – The Starcourt SignalDebugging, code tracing, and hidden logic
Round 4 – The Curse of VecnaSystem navigation, file analysis, and time-based challenges
Round 5 – The Final WarIntegration and rapid problem-solving

Team Size
Exactly 3 members per team
Participation is strictly team-based
Cross-year teams allowed
One participant can be part of only one team
Eligibility
Open to all undergraduate students
Any branch and year eligible
Valid college ID required
Basic programming and logical reasoning recommended

Venue: Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Nagpur
Direct-entry event — no pre-elimination
Required Materials & Facilities
Laptop (mandatory)
Extension cords or power strips
Internet provided at venue
Food will be provided to participants during the event day
Rules & Guidelines
Fair play is mandatory
Any malpractice leads to disqualification
Browser inspect tools and answer sharing prohibited
Repeatedly leaving the event window may lead to disqualification
Follow platform instructions at all times
Admin decisions are final

Runner-up – ₹7,000
Second Runner-up – ₹5,000
