The AMA SF Marketing Hackathon offers cutting-edge marketing solutions to elevate select non-profit partners. This dynamic, collaborative event brings together creative minds, technical experts, and innovative thinkers from the marketing industry. Set in the South Bay Area, this full-day event focuses on leveraging the latest strategies in social media and email marketing to tackle real-world challenges.
Participants will form teams that include industry experts serving as mentors. Under their guidance, the hackathon provides a platform for skill enhancement, professional networking, and creative problem-solving, all while making a significant community impact. With opportunities for hands-on learning, resource access, and expert feedback, the AMA SF Hackathon is the perfect stage for showcasing talent and driving marketing innovation.

Event Run of Show
11:00 AM – 11:30 AM: Check-In & Refreshments Arrival, registration, and light refreshments.
11:30 AM – 12:15 PM: Welcome & Non-Profit Introductions Opening remarks, event overview, and participating non-profits present their challenges.
12:15 PM – 2:00 PM: Team Kickoff & Working Session Teams meet non-profits, ask questions, and begin developing strategies.
2:00 PM – 3:45 PM: Hackathon Working Session Continued strategy development with optional mentor and non-profit input.
3:00 PM – 3:45 PM: Judge Arrival & Preparation Judges arrive, review materials, and meet non-profits.
3:45 PM: Submission Deadline Teams finalize and submit their work.
3:45 PM – 4:00 PM: Transition Setup for presentations.
4:00 PM – 5:20 PM: Team Presentations Teams present solutions (7 min presentation + ~3 min Q&A each).
5:20 PM – 5:45 PM: Deliberation & Networking Judges evaluate; refreshments and networking.
5:45 PM – 6:30 PM: Winners & Closing Winner announcements and closing remarks.
6:05 PM: Team Photos Group photos with participants, judges, and partners.
