About The Opportunity: Embark on an exciting journey at the Dev Heat Hackathon, the flagship inter-college hackathon hosted by the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Surat. This event is designed for innovators and problem-solvers eager to dive deep into full-stack technology solutions and real-world problem solving. The hackathon follows a hybrid structure consisting of an online idea submission and prototype round, followed by a high-intensity offline finale where shortlisted teams present and defend their projects before an expert panel. This is your chance to showcase your prowess in rapid software development, collaborate in teams, and contribute to impactful solutions in a dynamic environment. Themes/Problem Statements: Participants are challenged to build innovative solutions in the following high-impact domains: Artificial Intelligence FinTech Healthcare EdTech Sustainability Others (Open Innovation) Eligibility And Registration: Team Size: Participation is open to teams of 1-3 members. Requirements: Participants must bring their own laptops with the necessary development environment pre-installed and Git repositories ready. Competition Structure: The structure for this hybrid coding challenge is as follows: Phase 1: Online Round (Idea Submission & Prototype): Duration: 10 Days Platform: Unstop Details: Teams must submit a validated idea and a basic working prototype (Figma/Wireframe/MVP) along with a 3-5 minute demo video. Selection: The top 6-10 teams will be shortlisted to advance to the offline finale. Phase 2: Offline Finale (On-Campus Hackathon): Venue: IIIT Surat Duration: 2 Hours Details: Shortlisted teams will refine and finalize their working project solution during a final coding sprint, followed by a live pitch and Q&A session with the judges. Rewards And Prizes: Winners will be awarded the following cash prizes and recognition: 1st Prize: ₹9,000 + Certificates 2nd Prize: ₹5,000 + Certificates 3rd Prize: ₹3,000 + Certificates Special Awards: Best UI/UX, Most Impactful Project, and Best Innovation.
