SupeRR Selector Hackathon: Help Decide Rajasthan Royals' Auction Strategy

Rajasthan Royals invites students, data enthusiasts, analysts and cricket lovers from across the country to step into the shoes of a modern talent scout—one who blends cricketing intuition with the power of data! In this innovative hackathon, participants will not only select players they believe the Royals should target during the IPL auction, but also leverage analytics, machine learning models, and interactive dashboards to justify their selections. Contestants can explore historical IPL data, performance metrics, player roles, game situations to uncover hidden gems and high-impact performers. All college students and general participants can take part individually. The top few participants will be flown out to Mumbai to the Rajasthan Royals office to work on a more detailed Round 2 challenge, and the winning team will get an exclusive opportunity to travel to the auction venue with the Royals’ Analytics think tank!
