About This Event
Join us at AI Pitch Jam: A Storytelling Hackathon, a fun, hands-on session where participants will use AI tools to create a movie trailer about an unlikely duo: the Merlion and the Otter.
In teams of four, you’ll brainstorm, script, and produce a 30–60 second AI-generated trailer that sells an exciting story — one so compelling that investors would want to fund the full film!
The goal: to make learning AI fun, social, and creative, while exploring how storytelling and local culture can come alive through technology. No experience needed — just bring your laptop and imagination.
Objectives
AI is transforming the way we create stories, ads, and branded content.
In this interactive hackathon, you’ll get an inside look at the tools, workflows, and strategies shaping the future of video content. Together, we’ll explore the AI landscape and watch a branding video come to life from script to screen — in just 20 minutes.
Then, you’ll roll up your sleeves for the hands-on session, where you’ll team up with others (or form new groups on the spot) to create your own 30-second video using cutting-edge AI tools.
Sharing of the current AI content pipeline: writing, visuals, video, audio, editing. How to structure prompts and workflows for faster, better outputs. What are the strategies to optimize and budget AI credits A live demo: script, visuals, video, music, and sound design — all created in 15 minutes. Hands-on session to create your own trailer video with mentor guidance
