About the Opportunity:
A fast-paced coding challenge where creativity meets execution.
Participants receive unconventional problem statements and must design and build a working application within a strict time limit.
Focuses on technical skills, creativity, edge-case handling, and clarity of presentation.
Eligibility:
Open to all undergraduate students.
Individuals or Teams (maximum 3 members per team).
All team members must register individually on Unstop.
Competition Format:
Round 1 – Creative Build Round:
Each team receives a unique problem statement.
Teams must build a functional prototype within the allotted time.
Duration: 30–45 minutes (plan and build) + 10 minutes (presentation).
Extra time will be penalized.
Shortlisting based on judging criteria.
Final Round – Head-to-Head Challenge (Next Day):
All finalist teams receive the same problem statement.
Teams compete directly against each other.
Duration: 2 hours.
Final evaluation includes live demo and Q&A.
One problem per team in Round 1 and one common problem in the Final Round.
Technical Guidelines:
Participants must bring their own laptops.
Internet access is allowed.
Use of AI tools such as ChatGPT and Copilot is permitted.
Any tech stack, frameworks, and libraries are allowed unless specified.
Pre-built full solutions are not allowed.
A working prototype is sufficient; full deployment is not mandatory.
Presentation Format:
Each team must present their application.
Presentation time: 5–7 minutes per team.
Live demo is mandatory.
Judges may ask questions during evaluation.
Judging Criteria:
Creativity and originality.
Logical problem-solving approach.
Handling of edge cases.
UI/UX design and usability.
Technical execution.
Clarity of explanation.
Rules:
Strict adherence to allotted time.
Plagiarism or copying between teams leads to disqualification.
Teams must clearly explain their logic during presentation.
Judges’ decisions are final and binding.
Participants must follow coordinators’ instructions at all times.
