Overview:
The Code Intrusion is a 24 hours online Capture The Flag (CTF) competition designed to challenge participants’ skills in web exploitation, cryptography, reverse engineering, forensics, OSINT, and more.
Contestants must identify, exploit, and solve vulnerabilities across different challenges to capture digital “flags.” Each flag earns points, and the leaderboard updates live as the game unfolds.
Your goal: Find the flag. Earn the points. Climb the ranks.
️ General Guidelines:
The event is conducted entirely online through the official CTF platform.
Each participant must register individually.
Participants must use only legal and ethical means to solve challenges.
If two or more participants tie on scores then the one with earlier submission of his last flag will be ranked higher.
The competition is time-bound; no submissions are accepted after the timer ends.
Any form of cheating, collusion, or sharing flags will lead to instant disqualification.
The event organizers reserve the right to monitor traffic and logs for any suspicious activity.
Decisions made by the judges or organizing team are final and binding.
️ Competition Format:
The contest consists of multiple challenges distributed across categories like:
Cryptography
Web Exploitation
OSINT
Reverse Engineering
Forensics
Miscellaneous / Logic
Each challenge hides a flag (e.g., CTF{example_flag}) which can be submitted to earn points.
Challenges vary in difficulty and point value, encouraging both beginners and experts to participate.
Scoring System:
Each challenge carries a specific point value based on difficulty.
A dynamic scoring system may be used — meaning points for a challenge may decrease slightly as more individuals solve it.
The player with the highest total score at the end of the event wins.
In case of a tie, the individuals who achieved the score first (by timestamp) will rank higher.
Rules of Engagement:
Brute forcing, DoS/DDoS, port scanning, or attacking the CTF platform is strictly prohibited.
Only the intended challenge targets are in scope. Any attack outside the defined scope (e.g., event servers, admin panels, other participants) will lead to immediate disqualification.
Automated tools (e.g., Burp Intruder, dirbuster, sqlmap) are allowed.
Sharing flags, hints, or direct solutions during the event is not allowed.
Respect all participants — any form of harassment, toxicity, or unsportsmanlike behavior will result in disqualification.
Flag Format:
All flags follow a consistent format such as: CTF{your_flag_here}
Flags are case-sensitive unless otherwise mentioned.
Ensure no trailing spaces or hidden characters before submission.
Event Flow:
Registration & Setup: Players register before the deadline on the official platform.
Competition Window: Challenges go live at the scheduled start time.
Flag Submission: Teams submit flags via the event portal for automatic scoring.
Leaderboard: Real-time leaderboard displays standings.
Event End: Platform locks submissions; final results are verified by organizers.
Results & Awards: Winners announced after integrity checks and flag validation.
Disqualification Triggers:
Participants will be immediately disqualified for any of the following:
Sharing or leaking challenge flags or source files publicly.
Attempting to disrupt, manipulate, or hack the CTF platform or infrastructure.
Using offensive language or violating the event’s code of conduct.
Submitting false or misleading reports.
Attempting to gain unfair advantage through collusion or external help.
Evaluation & Prizes:
Winners will be declared based on total score and time of last valid flag submission.
All participants will be awarded with participation certificates.
Certificates will be awarded for the top teams.
Top candidates will get qualification to our Red Team and Blue Team battle (The Cyber Gauntlet) where you can win a prize pool of ₹65000 + goodies.
2) The Cyber Gauntlet (Final Showdown):
Overview The top qualifiers from Code Intrusion will advance to the final offline round: The Cyber Gauntlet , which will be held on 20 February, 2026. Participants will face off in a live environment to determine the ultimate winner.
️ General Guidelines:
Mode: Offline.
Eligibility: Restricted to top performers qualified from Round 1.
