Welcome to Startup Oasis! #JPMorgan
We are visiting SF for the JP Morgan Healthcare Conference and will have this special event near the Moscone Center. Look for the flyers and greeters on the ground floor of the venue! This is a great opportunity to meet other founders and tech professionals looking to make an impact in the healthcare tech space and beyond!
If you are a startup founder, investor, developer, marketer, or anyone else in the tech ecosystem looking to start, join, or help a tech startup, this event is for you! Entrepreneurs pitch their startups to the attendees; then, you can join a breakout room/area (that we curate) to talk to the founders, join their team, ask questions, and/or give feedback. People have been able to start a business as a result of this process. You are welcome to just watch as well.
After the last pitch, the audience will be able to vote on a winner who will become eligible to pitch during the championship round at the end of the year to win the grand prize! If you would like to pitch, RSVP here, and you can sign up on the day of the event.
This event is **free** to attend. You can also support us with a donation to get a reserved spot to pitch or a seat if we reach capacity.
Schedule:
9:30 AM PDT - Doors Open for networking. Sign up at the check-in table if you want to pitch your startup
10:00 AM - Founders are chosen to pitch
10:15 AM - Startup Oasis Begins, founders pitch
10:45 AM onward - Founders break off into break-out rooms/areas, and attendees can move around and help one for the remainder of the time, similar to a hackathon
12:00 PM - Optional lunch is served upstairs; you can buy a ticket here
12:30 PM - This event ends, and attendees must clear out of the main room to prepare for the following event (Angel Launch). Startup Oasis is a great warm-up if you are pitching at Angel Launch as well.
Startup Oasis was created to pierce the illusion of accessibility of startups and tech by creating a grassroots forum for early-stage founders to pitch to those in the tech ecosystem to get real-time feedback for their idea or business.

FAQ:
Is this event free to attend? Yes - Startup Oasis will always be free for anyone to attend. If you would like to donate, you can buy a VIP ticket here, and it will be appreciated! You can also talk to us about volunteer and sponsorship opportunities.
How do I get inside the venue? Look for the front entrance of Frontier Tower on Market Street.
Am I eligible to pitch? You must be the founder or on the leadership team of a technology-based startup to be eligible to pitch. You can be early stage (pre-funding, pre-revenue, or pre-MVP) up to series A. Consultants, firms, and agencies cannot pitch their services - please join a breakout to speak with the founders.
How do I sign up to pitch? RSVP here and sign up on the list at the check-in desk on the day of the event. That will also determine the order. You can also buy a VIP ticket to support our cause and guarantee you a spot to pitch.
What happens after the pitches? The breakout groups form for the remainder of the event. Each founder gets a breakout room and you can talk with them more there about their business and needs.
Can I take photos or videos? Yes, please be respectful when doing so. You can tag Startup Oasis on LinkedIn. If you have a video or YouTube show, you are welcome to interview founders and attendees.
