Join us in making meaningful progress in advancing the state of artificial intelligence, bringing us closer to general agents.
Opening speaker: Rapha Lopes, a research scientist at OpenAI, working on synthetic data. Before this, he spent 4 years doing ML research at Google Brain, a time he sometimes thinks of as "doing a PhD, without the degree".
About the Hackathon
Despite recent progress in LLMs, the best models are still only scoring 2.5% on remotelabor.ai's benchmark of economically useful agents.
The mission of this hackathon is to use open source models and infrastructure to build agents that perform a workflow, some work task or an entire end to end solution.
We're inviting 50 builders to Frontiers Tower in SF to figure out what comes after traditional work. There's a $5k bonus for standout projects, $30k in free credits to play with, subsidized access to any open source model you want, plus Tzafon computer credits.
Pizza and merch included. We're running this with some amazing companies doing interesting things in the space.
Judge criteria
Progress across or in a subdomain of remotelabor.ai, using any open source model. Free usage of Tzafon Computer during the event.
Prize pool
1st team – $5k cash & $30k in Tzafon Computer credits
2-5th place – $500 in Tzafon Computer Credits
Spots are limited and we're keeping this tight-knit, so grab yours while you can.
Some suggested projects

NB – We invite you to join as a team (please select the amount of tickets) of up to 4 members, or solo if you'd like to be matched with a team.

This event is hosted at the Frontier Tower:
We are transforming a 16-floor tower in San Francisco into a self-governed vertical village—a hub for frontier technologies and creative arts. Tier-one labs presenting AI, Ethereum, biotech, neuroscience, longevity, robotics, human flourishing, and arts & music. These floors will house innovators and creators pushing the boundaries of human potential in a post-AI-singularity world.
