Mimer is Sweden's AI innovation factory with the aim of providing free access to sovereign EU compute infrastructure, and a team of AI experts to help startups, researchers and public sector tackle complex computing challenges and accelerate AI projects. Stockholm AI is pleased to collaborate with Mimer and bring you this mini hackathon that will utilize Mimer's free AI infrastructure. The agenda is as follows: 17:15 Doors open + mingle 18:00 Introduction to Mimer and the hackathon task. The task will be to create 'research agents' using Mimer and open weight models that can answer questions using Sweden's public data (e.g. SCB). 18:30 Hackathon begins 20:00 Wrap-up presentations and demos 20:30 Home time Food and beverage will be provided. NOTE: While the models will be served on Mimer infra, people are still expected to bring their laptops to participate. You should have experience in setting up and running Python applications,.e.g using uv, calling APIs, etc. You are of course free to use your favourite coding agent/IDE of choice.
