First we prompted with chatbots. Then we vibed with vibe coding and automation. Now agents are real and we get stuff done by delegating.
In under a year, AI went from thought partner to autonomous operator, and the product, engineering, and project leaders who make this shift will spend less time wrangling information and more time on the work that actually matters: shaping great products.
OpenClaw, the open-source AI agent framework with 330K+ GitHub stars, has become the fastest-growing open software project in history. Nvidia's CEO called it "the next ChatGPT." But OpenClaw is just the most visible example of a much larger shift. Claude Code, Google Gemini, Notion AI, Microsoft Copilot, and others are all racing to give professionals autonomous agents that act on their behalf. The implications for product managers, project managers, and tech leaders are massive, and almost nobody is talking about it.
In this session, Damien Peters, Managing Partner at WNCP AI, Adjunct Faculty at the University of Maryland, and ex-Meta Product Manager, will break down what the agentic shift means for how you build products, run teams, and spend your time.
This isn't a lecture. Damien runs a production multi-agent system daily. You'll see it live.
But more than a YouTube demo, see what this means for the future of product management in the AI Era.
What You'll Walk Away With:
Why OpenClaw and AI agents matter for product, engineering, project management, and founders.
The progression from prompting to automating to vibe coding to delegating to agents, and what changes at each stage
Practical guidance on security risks (including "shadow agency" and runaway agent costs), and how to get started this week
How agents are already turning 4-5 hours of weekly competitive research into a 15-minute Monday morning report, and cutting 45-minute stakeholder updates down to a 10-minute review
The building blocks and options when it comes to building and implementing your own proactive autonomous agent.
A live walkthrough of a real agent team built by Damien and delivering real value to his firm, clients, and family.
A look at the upcoming Generative AI for Product Managers course on Coursera from UMD
Who This Is For:
Product managers, project managers, engineering managers, tech leads, and anyone in a product development role who wants to understand what happens when AI stops being a chatbot and starts being a teammate.
No coding experience required.
No OpenClaw experience required.
Just curiosity and a desire to work smarter.
