About the Event:
A Capture The Flag competition where participants hack a vulnerable virtual machine to obtain flags
Focuses on practical penetration testing skills
Participants work on exploiting vulnerabilities in a controlled environment
Mode and Duration:
Mode: Offline
Duration: 12 hours
Inter-college team members are allowed
System Requirements:
Laptop with VirtualBox installed
Attacker virtual machine such as Kali Linux or Parrot OS recommended
Ability to configure isolated virtual machine networking
Guidelines:
Bring your own device and extension box
The challenge virtual machine must run in an isolated network
SecureBoot is not allowed
Key Rules:
Do not attack the scoreboard
Do not share flags as they are unique and one-time use
