The Pitch-Pulse:
The Pitch-Pulse is a high-pressure simulation where technology meets environmental accountability. Unlike standard pitches, teams must survive a "live siege" from a panel of expert judges. The objective is to develop a "Green Unicorn"—a startup that is technically groundbreaking and environmentally bulletproof.
The Valuation Dashboard:
Starting Capital: Each team begins with a virtual seed valuation of 5 Crores.
Round 1: The Feeding Frenzy (Qualifying Round):
Dynamic Fluctuation: Valuation can increase and decrease as per your answers if the judges are satisfied with it. Conversely, technical failures or "Greenwashing" (e.g fake environmental claims) result in immediate drops.
The Bankruptcy Rule: If a team’s valuation hits 0 during the "Siege," the startup is declared insolvent, and the team is eliminated.
Rounds and Stages:
The event comprises 2 rounds named The Feeding Frenzy and The Deep End.
Round 1: The Feeding Frenzy (Qualifying Round):
Theme Selection: Teams must choose their project theme from the official list provided by the organizers.
Submission Format: Teams must submit a presentation (PPT) with a strict limit of 8 slides in PDF format. This limit includes a mandatory 'Team Details' page at the beginning and a 'Closing' page at the end. A standardized template will be provided by the organizing team and must be strictly followed.
Evaluation: Submissions will be reviewed and qualified by a panel of seniors.
Shortlisting: Around 10 top teams will qualify and advance to the second round.
Round 2: The Deep End (Live Pitching):
This round will be highly competitive. The shortlisted teams (~10 teams) will pitch their ideas/products live in front of the judges. This round is broken down into 3 critical stages:
Stage 1: The Hook (5 Mins):
A clean technical pitch. It consists of opening statements (30 seconds), pitches (4 minutes), and closing remarks (30 seconds).
Stage 2: The Siege:
During the pitch, Judges (Sharks) may interrupt at any moment to ask questions regarding your product, criteria, and claims.
Stage 3: The Final Verdict:
Judges deliberate to fix the final "Market Valuation."
The Final Verdict: Judges deliberate to fix the final "Market Valuation."
Rules and Guidelines:
Only the participants who qualify in Round 1 (submission) will be eligible to participate in Round (pitching).
Themes for both rounds will be provided by the organizing team.Participants must create a single innovative solution by combining any two themes from the six themes provided below in a single PPT, strictly following the prescribed template. The final PPT must be submitted before the specified deadline.
Qualifying teams for round two will have to pitch their ideas they submitted.
In the event of a tie in the final scores, the winner will be determined based on a strict priority hierarchy of the judging criteria: Technical Viability > Eco-Integrity > Resilience > Fiscal Logic
