BlairHacks is Montgomery Blair High School’s annual student-run 36-hour hackathon, bringing together creative thinkers, builders, and problem-solvers for an unforgettable weekend of innovation. Hosted in the DMV, BlairHacks empowers high school students of all experience levels to explore technology, collaborate with peers, and turn bold ideas into real projects.
May 23rd to May 25th | 36 Hours of InnovationTaking place from May 23rd to May 25th, BlairHacks gives participants a full 36 hours to imagine, design, and build something meaningful. Students form teams, brainstorm solutions to real-world challenges, and create projects ranging from web and mobile apps to games, hardware prototypes, and AI tools.
No prior experience is required. Whether you are a first-time coder or an experienced developer, there is a place for you at BlairHacks.
Throughout the weekend, hackers can attend hands-on workshops covering web development, app design, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and hardware. Dedicated mentors are available around the clock to provide technical guidance and feedback. With exciting prizes, mini-events, free food, and swag, the event is designed to be both productive and fun.
The hackathon concludes with project presentations and live demos, where teams showcase what they have built and compete for awards recognizing creativity, impact, and technical achievement.
