About the Challenge:
VibeForge 2026: A Vibe Coding Hackathon is a premier two-day innovation event organized by E-Cell ADGIPS as a part of E-Summit 2026. Where entrepreneurial thinking meets AI-powered development, this hackathon challenges ambitious student teams to conceive a startup idea and build a working MVP from scratch, entirely using vibe coding platforms powered by AI.
Participants will get the exclusive opportunity to validate their ideas, push AI coding tools to their limits, receive expert mentorship, and present their live product to a jury of experts, academicians, and industry leaders. Build. Vibe. Win.
Objectives:
Bridge the gap between entrepreneurial thinking and AI-driven technical execution.
Challenge students to build a functional MVP rapidly using Vibe Coding platforms and AI tools.
Encourage interdisciplinary teamwork by blending business strategy with modern tech development.
Provide high-impact expert mentorship on idea validation, product direction, and technical execution.
Identify and reward highly scalable, AI-first startup concepts.
Who Can Participate:
Undergraduate college students.
Idea Makers: Students with startup concepts ready to validate.
AI Builders: Devs and designers pushing vibe coding tools to the limit.
Team Players & Future Founders: Multi-disciplinary teams thriving in time-bound environments.
Team Structure:
1 to 3 members per team.
One member must be designated as the Team Leader.
Theme: Open Innovation (Startup ideas powered by AI & Vibe Coding)
Challenge Structure:
Phase 1: Online Round & Build Phase (08 April 2026)
10:00 AM – 12:00 PM | Mentoring Session I: Expert-led guidance on idea validation, concept refinement, and clarifying product direction.
05:00 PM – 07:00 PM | Mentoring Session II: Progress review, teams share their vibe-coded builds and get targeted technical feedback.
09:00 PM | Shortlist Announcement: Top teams are revealed and officially invited to the Grand Finale.
12:00 AM (Midnight) | PPT Submission Deadline: All shortlisted teams must submit their final presentation deck before midnight.
Phase 2: Grand Finale / Offline Demo Day (09 April 2026)
Venue: ADGIPS Campus, New Delhi
Final Presentations: Shortlisted teams deliver their pitch and perform a live demo of their AI-built MVP.
Jury Evaluation: Expert judges score each team based on the dual criteria.
Closing Ceremony: Winners crowned, prizes awarded, and open networking.
Evaluation Criteria (50/50 Split):

Startup viability & scalability
Clarity of go-to-market thinking
Team's entrepreneurial storytelling
2. Vibe Coding Execution (50%)
Features built using AI tools / Vibe platforms
Depth & quality of the MVP implementation
Creative use of AI development tools
Product polish & demo clarity
General Guidelines:
Teams must register within the stipulated deadline.
The prototype/MVP must be built utilizing AI and vibe coding tools.
Shortlisted teams must be available to attend the offline Grand Finale at the ADGIPS Campus, New Delhi.
All submissions must be original work developed during the hackathon timeframe.
Participants must carry valid college ID cards for the offline finale.
The decision of the expert jury and organizing team will be final and binding.
Rules & Regulations:
Plagiarism or submitting pre-built projects will lead to immediate disqualification.
Teams must not change members after registration without prior approval from the organizers.
Any misconduct or unfair means will result in disqualification.
Only the teams which participated in Mentoring Round 1 would be allowed in Mentoring Round 2.
Teams must strictly adhere to the midnight deadline for PPT submissions on Day 1.
Hardware/laptops required for the offline presentation and live demo must be brought by the participants.
